| Subject: ORGANICROOTSTIMULATOR CARROT OIL and RELAXERS and HAIR COLOR | ||
| My tip is listed below! ;-) Hello Everyone. I am Puerto Rican and Black American Mixed (I call myself Black) I am VERY proud of my heritage's. ;-) My hair has "some" natural curl in it, but is too soft and to fine! I use a Permanent Curl Relaxer on my hair named: "MOTIONS" mild strength relaxer. I also like WILLIE MORROW PRODUCTS Hair Relaxer. As for the Carrot Oil manufactured by NAMASTE LABORATORIES L.L.C. located in Chicago, IL the entire product line is fantastic! I am a licensed Cosmetology Instructor and Hair Stylist. I love these products! And I am also a computer instructor. (More than one skill If I have some typo's in this message please let me know. I especially like using the "Organic Root Stimulator - "Carrot Oil" right after applying a hair relaxer and a hair color all on the same day! Your hair must be in good to excellent condition in order to apply a Hair RELAXER and a "PERMANENT HAIR COLOR," all on the same day! But you can also apply a relaxer and apply a semi-permanent hair color ALL on the same day, such as Clariol Beautiful Collection. Or Beautiful Browns or ANY Semi-hair permanent hair color purchased from a Beauty Supply Outlet. I relax the hair making sure to APPLY and SMOOTH the relaxer in LESS than 10-12 minutes, Application and Smoothing time is INCLUDED in the 10-12 minutes timing. After rinsing out the relaxer, and shampooing out the relaxer using a neutralizing shampoo. If your hair is coarse texture application AND smoothing time should be no more than 12-15minutes. FOR Me: I did my Relaxer then removed/rinsed/shampooed with a nutralizing shampoo/rinised out all the Relaxer. Lightly Towel dried the hair, Next I applied the "ION Reconstructor Treatment", and worked it into a lather. I LEAVE the ION treatment on the hair during the hair color process. Next I create what is called a "hair- color-glossing." NOTE: 10 Volume Developer (Deposits Color Only, No Lift) NOTE: I suggest you WAIT Two Weeks AFTER applying a relaxer, before applying permanent hair color using a "higher volume of developer" such as....... 20 Volume Developer (Lifts 1-2 Levels/Shades depending on your own natural hair color) 30 Volume Developer (Lifts up to 3 levels/shades depending on your own natural hair color) 40 Volume Developer (Give Maxium Lift) I mixed (1) one ounce of 10 volume developer, (1) one ounce of Wella Permanent Hair color (shade of your choice), Gently shake the solution making sure your finger tip is over the spout on the top of the hair color mixing bottle. Then I set my timer and applied the mixture OVER the ION Reconstructor Treatment to the hair shaft then to the roots of the hair, (be sure to apply heavily on the grey hair areas FIRST. Time the hair color mixture for 8-10 minutes. Check the grey area and see if color taking, use an old towel and wipe off some of the color on a strand of hair check in natural light or under a celing lights and if grey is still showing apply more color and continue timing. Rinse the solution off and "lightly" shampooed the hair with a SMALL amount of Creme Of Nature Shampoo making sure to remove hair color off the front and side hairline rinsing thoroughly including the NAPE of the neck (pronounced as NA-PE which means the BACK OF THE NECK. It is NOT pronounced as Nap! Remember NAP is when you go to snooze/sleep and nap also means to raise a specific fabric type "leather" or such as a "wool sweater" or "wool socks" or a "wool blanket", or "nap to pick or a recommendation as a good bet to win a contest (such as a British horse race) or card game bet." Once the hair color mixture is completely rinsed and shampooed out and rinsed out. You can apply about a silver dollar size of "ION STYLING GLAZE" which is an alcohol-free sculpting and designing Lotion. DO NOT add water just apply ION STYLING GLAZE straight out the bottle. Next apply about a 1/4 of "INFUSIUM 23" Leave In Conditioner. Next apply "ORGANIC ROOT STIMULATOR CARROT OIL" to the scalp and hair shaft and ends of the hair shaft. Next apply a small amount of "PROCLAIM" - Glossing Polish which contains Aloe and other natural oils. Next set the hair with the largest roller possible and dry using a hair dryer or blower with a Diffuser attached on the end of the blow dryer. You can also choose NOT to set your hair with rollers you can LIGHTLY blow-dry the hair and use a warm curling iron and curl the hair. I myself prefer to SET the hair after all of the above. BUT I can blow-dry the hair after the NEXT shampoo/conditioning appointment for my client. NOTE: I used the same procedures/treatments on MY OWN HAIR and there is NO hair breakage! My hair texture is fine and soft. But women who have medium or coarse hair texture's have SUPER results also. Actually women with medium or coarse hair is the best hair to work with because you ladies with this hair texture has more strength and body to your hair texture. NOTE: In place of Wella Permanent Hair Color and 10 volume developer, you can use, a great product named: CLAIROL PROFESSIONAL "RADIANCE" MOISTURE RICH COLORGLOSS," and mix with "equal parts" of CLAIROL PROFESSIONAL "RADIANCE" COLOR "INFUSER." You MUST purchase the Moisture Rich Colorgloss and the Color Infuser to use. And instead of leaving it on 8-10 minutes you can leave it on 10-25 minutes. I like the Radiance Moisture Rich ColorGloss Reds and Brown shades such as 4R- Light Red Brown or 3R- Medium Red Brown. I also like to do a custom mixture of 1 and 1/2 ounce of Medium Red Brown and 1/2 ounce of Light Red Brown with 2 ounces of the INFUSER. and I apply it for 20 minutes on the hair shaft and work through to the roots for 5 minutes. Then rinse out the mixture and apply the INFUSIUM 23, ION STYLING GLAZE and PROCLAIM GLOSSING POLISH. NOTE: ALWAYS use the "Carrot Oil" on a DAILY basis on your scalp and hair shaft and ends of the hair shaft. AND after shampooing and before blowing or roller setting your hair. The heat from the hair dryer or blow dryer "seals" in the product and seals down the cuticle layer of your hair shaft maintaining moisture and shine! NOTE: Organic Root Stimulator Mayonnaise should be mixed with (1) egg and mixed applied to freshly shampooed hair and you can wear the mixture from 1-2 hours without applied heat. Then rinse out and use whatever styling aids you prefer to style your hair. NOTE: The above products can be found at any SALLY'S BEAUTY SUPPLY or other LARGE BEAUTY SUPPLY OUTLETS. Just call around in your city using your Yellow Pages listed under BEAUTY SUPPLY. NOTE: You can also use a product from Clairol named: TEXTURES and TONES it is a good conditioning permanet hair color product that works great on Relaxed hair or hair.
