| long time no "e" everybody! hello to the old and the new. for those of you who remember little courtney, last time i posted i was living in charlotte. at rina's referral, who is a list member who lives in charlotte, nc, i went to see the only natural hair care stylist in the charlotte area at Evette's Hairmaster's Salon. though i went in just to check her out and get a trim, i came away with much more. at the time, i just thought my hair would always be dry. i conditioned, took good care of it, but my hair is just DRY. always has been. it would get soft...to a point. it would shine...to a point. but it stayed slightly brittle, even though i took my vitamins, drank my water, etc. i just resigned to the fact that it would always be a little dry.... till sista girl blessed me with a product that has become a lifesaving hydrater for my extra dry hair: Kemit Sava'ge (the salon name for kemi oyl products) Oyl-Plus conditioning spray. y'all, it is the bomb. now my hair routine is complete and i am loving on these naps more than ever before. i wash with dr. bronner's tea tree castile soap, i condition with an african formula cream rinse that i found at the natural foods store or either aubrey organics' rosa mosqueta, and then i oil my scalp with ebene natural's shea butter hair and scalp conditioning hairdress. to finish, i spray the kemi condtioning spray, and use the spray once a day or every other day. my hair is moist, not greasy, and just marvelous!!! i couldn't be more pleased. to those who want to try it, use with caution: a litte really goes a long way and if you get carried away you will be walking around with a sticky oily drawn up mop on your head. used sparingly or lightly, you will see instant results. and what i like most about it--no synthetics, no chemicals, all natural, no mineral oil nor petrochemicals--just au naturel. if you read this far, then you love me. i love you too. be blessed, and i am looking forward to catching up with the messages now that i have relocated and am settled in columbia, sc. agape, courtney--- | ||
