Hello Geri!

You sound like you have fairly similar colouring to me as it happens.

I have v pale skin, (are you pink or golden toned? I'm both!!!),
golden auburn hair and dark blue eyes.

Here are some of my favourites which I think will work for you:

Firstly, foundation needs to be light to mid coverage, (or else it
REALLY shows over freckles), and WELL blended. Sometimes beauty
consultants tell me not to go for the palest shade and move me up
one, but they're under the misconception that I think my pale skin is
ugly. I spend a lot of time with Chinese people and used to live in
Taiwan where EVERYONE wants to be whiter and they all thought my skin
was wonderful! I decided to believe them, although I like a little of
the lightest shade of bronzing powder at times. A good caption I got
from a magazine years ago is: "Tanned and tedious, Pale and
interesting!"

It sounds to me like salmon pink would be great on you. It's nice
and natural and would suit you for both lips and eys, accompanied by
a
darker blue, green, violet, brown or grey around the edges to add
some variety etc. Are you golden toned? In that case, you can get
away with the golden shades although I find, (at the ripe old age of
28),I don't suit very sparkly shades anymore. I would recommend my
favourite eye colour palette, if it's within your budget and that's
Christian Dior's 5 colour collection in 810, "Autor Des Rose/The
Roses". There's a salmon pink, a neutral brown, a soft gold and
light copper and an irridescent lilac. It's well worth the
investment.=) Also excellent is Chanel's 22 "Les Fauvres" their
original matte brown/pink collection.

What sorts of colours do you go for now?

Take care and have fun!

Love and lipstick!

Elisabeth
