| most commercial soaps have lard in them. Except for natural soaps which has coconut oil or olive oil in them. If you prefer to use soap on your face, then natural soaps would be better. You can find a list of ingredients on the internet for natural soaps. Some even have fragrance free or baby soaps, calendula, chamomile. But of course it is up to the individual. I cannot use any kind of soap on my face; it burns and feels itchy right off. Honey soaps should be good for the face too. You can never go wrong with a gentle cleanser followed up with an alcohol free toner.
